Stepping Into the Unknown

This piece is a reflection of stepping boldly into the unknown. The flower-headed messenger is made using an iron-on fabric technique I had never tried before intentionally mirroring the theme of the work: taking risks, trying something new, and trusting the journey.

Her body is in motion, alive with possibility. The dashes swirling around her represent her untamed, open energy surging forward, spilling past the edges of the canvas. She's not waiting for permission. She's in full alignment with her path, and nothing can stop her.

For me, this painting marked a moment of transformation of honoring the fear that comes with change but choosing to leap anyway.
